I'd like to get you guys to become committers - Sam I never heard
back from you whether you're interested? If you are I will nominate
you right now on the basis of patches already submitted via Jira.

Joe, if you can submit one more patch I'll be happy to nominate you
too. As I said on the mailing list, it is common for an Apache project
to set the committer bar a bit lower during the early stages of a
project so that we build the community fast.
