Subject [GitHub] avro pull request #195: Specify license in pom
Date Wed, 08 Feb 2017 18:50:36 GMT
GitHub user benmccann opened a pull request:

    https://github.com/apache/avro/pull/195

    Specify license in pom

    My company uses tools that automatically check the licenses of libraries we use as specified
in their poms. This change would make it much easier for us to use Avro. The vast majority
of libraries we use specify their licenses in the pom, but Avro has to go through a special
approval process anytime we want to upgrade the version we use.

You can merge this pull request into a Git repository by running:

    $ git pull https://github.com/benmccann/avro license

Alternatively you can review and apply these changes as the patch at:

    https://github.com/apache/avro/pull/195.patch

To close this pull request, make a commit to your master/trunk branch
with (at least) the following in the commit message:

    This closes #195
