My concern isn't that this is public; I see that these classes are in the internal package.
But I don't think accessors are a good practice generally and there are definitely uses here
that are unnecessary. If this is temporary, then that makes some sense. But if these accessors
are going to linger in the code for a while then I don't support adding them as a short-cut.
