Thanks, [~tomwhite]. The purpose is clear.
The question was more about the definition of the public API. So, If we keep a public method
deprecated as it is for internal use only, would it be an acceptable solution or shall we
rewrite quite a big bunch of code to really get rid of the Jackson classes from all the public
methods?
