ASF subversion and git services commented on AVRO-1847:

Commit 89a31b9236c92b2036b8f4ddd190183a18c630fc in avro's branch refs/heads/master from [~Yibing]

AVRO-1847 IDL compiler should use BigDecimal to represent decimal logical type.

Allows opt-in for the specific compiler to use BigDecimal when generating Java
classes for a Schema with decimal types.

> Version 1.8.0 has added the support of logical types. A conversion class (Conversions.DecimalConversion)
has also been added for decimal type. However, the IDL compiler still uses ByteBuffer for
decimal types, which is not the same behaviour as data, time or timestamp type (added in AVRO-1684).
