Subject [GitHub] avro pull request: Support for optional fields when converting jso...
Date Wed, 12 Aug 2015 12:46:50 GMT
GitHub user wojtkiewicz opened a pull request:

    https://github.com/apache/avro/pull/47

    Support for optional fields when converting json to avro

    Currently there is an issue when we want to convert json object to avro using schema that
allows optional fields (fields of type 'null'). When json object does not explicitly have
such field with 'null' value then is treated as not conforming to schema. I added few test
cases that illustrate this problem.

You can merge this pull request into a Git repository by running:

    $ git pull https://github.com/wojtkiewicz/avro trunk

Alternatively you can review and apply these changes as the patch at:

    https://github.com/apache/avro/pull/47.patch

To close this pull request, make a commit to your master/trunk branch
with (at least) the following in the commit message:

    This closes #47
