Ted Malaska commented on AVRO-1251:
-----------------------------------

Hey Hari,

Just started getting the env ready to make this change and I found TestNettyServerWithSSL.

This is very cool. If compression can be added in without modifying NettyServer or NettyTranseiver,
then all I need to do is add a test case. Then forward that test case to users that would
like to implement compression. Like the Flume project.

> This is a more focused JIRA related to AVRO-1121.
> The goal of this JIRA is to:
> 1. Be able to set up a NettyServer that will accept compressed and uncompressed requests
from clients.
> 2. Be able to set up NettyTranseiver that supports compression options.
> The initial design is to allow the compression to be an option at setup of the server
or client and implement this compression with Netty's own ZLibEncoder and ZLibDecoder
