Date Fri, 15 Jun 2012 18:25:42 GMT
Thiruvalluvan M. G. created AVRO-1116:

             Summary: C++ code crashes on Data files with no data
                 Key: AVRO-1116
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AVRO-1116
             Project: Avro
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: c++
    Affects Versions: 1.7.0, 1.6.3, 1.6.2, 1.6.1, 1.6.0, 1.5.4, 1.5.3, 1.5.2, 1.5.1, 1.5.0
            Reporter: Thiruvalluvan M. G.
            Assignee: Thiruvalluvan M. G.
             Fix For: 1.7.1

It is because a single variable objectCount_ is used to represent the number of objects in
the current block. There is no way to distinguish between the current block having zero objects
and having read all the records in the current (non-empty) block.
