Good catch, Scott.  It looks like CallFuture has been that way from the beginning.  I think
you're right that it would be better to use a CountDownLatch in this case.

I like your idea of having CallFuture implement Callback.  That would be a good reuse of code,
and it would make it easier to implement the synchronous API using the callback API.  I'll
try it out this weekend and see how it looks.
