Doug Cutting resolved AVRO-45.
------------------------------

       Resolution: Fixed
    Fix Version/s: 1.0
         Assignee: Scott Banachowski

I just committed this.

Note I removed the instruction about making the 'obj' dir, since I yesterday changed the Makefile
to create this on demand, which I think is a better approach, no?

Also, subversion will keep track of the executable bit, but yesterday I did the 'chmod' after
the 'svn add', and subversion doesn't notice that change. Probably better to make it explicit
in the Makefile as you did.

Thanks, Scott!

> When checking out the code from svn, the python script used for code generation is not
executable. This causes make, which invokes the script, to fail.
> This change will invoke it from python instead of from the shell (e.g. "gen.py" is now
"python gen.py").
> Also in this patch, some of the README.txt notes were changed.
