You can already tell it to shutdown through JMX (using the HttpAdaptor or
RmiAdaptor).  (Access to the server through JMX should probably be protected
in some way if you're thinking about security).  Shutting Phoenix down
through the JMX RmiAdaptor would probably be a bit of a cleaner way to do
it. A platform independant one as well.
