Thanks Niclas. I think you're helping us all bridge the communication
gap here.

It doesn't even have to be at http://avalon.apache.org/framework. We
can do a redirect to somewhere else.

Basically, taking my w3c HTML example again, I feel like we've moved to
HTML 4.01 and getting ready for XHTML 1.0 and I just want to make sure I
can still find HTML 3.2 docs somewhere. They should even point out some
of the issues with the old spec. But they should at least be available,
just like the old releases are.

I also think this is a different issue than keeping Phoenix docs. With
Phoenix at least most of the Loom docs are similar or you can get the
docs with Phoenix itself. But for the Framework, there are no other
docs nor any other project which is qualified to host them.

Finally , I think the prior framework docs were insufficient. I'm
looking to rewrite and update new docs, not just copy the old ones.

That's the intention of this page:

http://avalon.apache.org/central/legacy/index.html

But it's not perfect.

Thanks again Niclas.
