Date Fri, 30 Apr 2004 14:21:03 GMT

The following Avalon release candidates have been posted to
http://www.apache.org/~mcconnell/candidates

   * avalon-framework (api/impl)    4.2
   * avalon-logging                 2.0
   * excalibur-lifecycle (api/impl) 1.2
   * excalibur-pool (api/impl)      2.0
   * excalibur-thread (api/impl)    2.0
   * excalibur-datasource           1.2
   * cornerstone                    2.0

The release candidate distribution for the cornerstone suite includes:

   * cornerstone-connection-api     2.0
   * cornerstone-connection-impl    2.0
   * cornerstone-datasource-api     1.0
   * cornerstone-datasource-impl    2.0
   * cornerstone-scheduled-api      1.0
   * cornerstone-datasource-impl    2.0
   * cornerstone-socket-api         1.0
   * cornerstone-socket-impl        1.1
   * cornerstone-socket-api         1.0
   * cornerstone-socket-impl        1.1
   * cornerstone-store-api          1.1
   * cornerstone-store-impl         1.1
   * cornerstone-threads-api        2.0
   * cornerstone-threads-impl       2.0

The above set of candidates covers the prerequisite releases implied by
james MAIN and Merlin MAIN. Please note that the cornerstone sources
have been updated to include the avalon tags and corresponding backward
compatible phoneix alias names. I'm planning on the set-up up a test
of james CVS MAIN against the cornerstore candidates this weekend.

Stephen.
