Subject [altrmi] Thread Name Request.
Date Thu, 16 May 2002 04:58:38 GMT
Currently, if you invoke a thread dump on a JVM using altrmi, you get
one or more unnamed threads
which are created by altrmi. An example is:

"Thread-2" (TID:0x8e8350, sys_thread_t:0x1bf5a5f8, state:CW, native
ID:0x9a8) prio=5
    at java.lang.Thread.sleep(Native Method)
    at
org.apache.excalibur.altrmi.client.impl.AbstractConnectionPinger.run(AbstractConnectionPinger.java:101)
    at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:498)

Paul, if you could name these threads when they are created, I would
sure appreciate it. Easy
to do, but figured you might have a better name than I... Maybe
"Altrmi-Connection-NN" or
something?

Cheers,
Leif
