  Added:       thread/src/java/org/apache/excalibur/thread/impl
                        AbstractThreadPool.java
  Log:
  STart writing an AbstractThreadPool that is not tied
  to any specific pool implementation, to Avalon
  framework and does not extend ThreadGroup.
  
  Extensively refactored and cleaned from original code.
