Subject [jira] [Created] (AURORA-962) Allow specifying the hostname the scheduler is running on
Date Sat, 06 Dec 2014 12:58:12 GMT
Chris Bannister created AURORA-962:
--------------------------------------

Summary: Allow specifying the hostname the scheduler is running on
                 Key: AURORA-962
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AURORA-962
             Project: Aurora
          Issue Type: Task
            Reporter: Chris Bannister
            Priority: Minor

Currently when running the scheduler on a node which has a private IP and a public IP (for
instance EC2), if you try to access the scheduler which is not the master it redirects to
the private IP which can not be overridden (unlike the mesos master).

We should be able to specify a --hostname to which the redirect to the current master.
