Madhan Neethiraj commented on ATLAS-1032:
-----------------------------------------

[~shwethags] Though Sqoop does not include log4j and hadoop-common libraries in sqoop/lib
directory, it includes HADOOP CLASSPATH in its classpath, which includes these libraries.
Hence log4j and hadoop-common libraries should not be packaged with Atlas Sqoop hook.

However, Storm does not seem to include any libraries packaged with Atlas Storm hook. Hence
no changes are needed.

I will have a patch for sqoop packaging changes shortly. Thanks for raising this issue.

> Atlas hook package should not include libraries that are already present in the host
component's lib directory - like hook/hive/atlas-hive-plugin-impl/log4j*.jar.
