Subject [jira] [Commented] (ASTERIXDB-1083) Output to the web console buggy for multiple queries

Murtadha Hubail commented on ASTERIXDB-1083:
--------------------------------------------

The current design for the web interface results display which allows query plans to be hidden
(collapsed) works only for queries with results (not DML statements). When queries are mixed
with inserts, it gets broken. I redesigned it to handle all types of statements.

Fixed in branch. Will submit the code review once the release changes are done.

> It seems that when you put multiple queries into the browser, the display info gets corrupted.
I'm not sure when this started. Try the following as an example (select to show the optimized
plan):
> drop dataverse emergencyTest if exists;
> create dataverse emergencyTest;
> use dataverse emergencyTest;
> create type CHPReport as {
>         "id":int,
> 	"timestamp":datetime,
>         "title":string,
>         "message":string
> }
> create dataset CHPReports(CHPReport)
> primary key timestamp;
> insert into dataset CHPReports(
> {"id":3,"timestamp":datetime("2015-08-27T10:10:00.000Z"),"title":"ghost","message":"success"}
> );
> insert into dataset CHPReports(
> {"id":4,"timestamp":datetime("2015-08-27T00:00:01.000Z"),"title":"ghost","message":"failure"}
> );
> for $emergency in dataset CHPReports
> return $emergency.message;
> for $emergency in dataset CHPReports
> return $emergency;
> for $emergency in dataset CHPReports
> return $emergency;
