Subject Re: [VOTE] Release Apache Arrow 0.3.0 - rc0
Date Tue, 02 May 2017 15:17:39 GMT
-1 (binding)

1. c_glib bindings are missing from the tarball

2. Sadly a debug print statement made its way in (my fault), and it's too
much of a nuisance to let through: https://github.com/apache/arrow/pull/629

Otherwise

* Built and ran unit tests for C++ and Python with Windows / Visual Studio
2015
* Built and ran Java unit tests (JDK 8)
* Built and ran C++ and Python unit tests on Ubuntu 14.04 / gcc 4.8

Could others look at the RC and see if there are any other problems that
need to be fixed? I can then make another RC at the end of the day today.

Thanks
