The OSGi Specification describes the service as follows:

This service interface offers JPA clients the ability to create instances o=
f EntityManagerFactory for a
given named persistence unit.=20

located in org.osgi.service.jpa / JPA Package Version 1.0.

Bundles wishing to use this package must list the package in the Import-Pac=
kage header of the bundle's
manifest. For example:
Import-Package: org.osgi.service.jpa; version=3D"[1.0,2.0)"

Aries seems not using this package, nor registering any service against thi=
s interface.


Preffered solution:
Either include this interface in the base jpa bundle or provide a seperate =
one and import it to register EntityManagerFactoryBuilder as described in t=
he specification
