Thanks. I've managed to turn off most of the default auth mechanism but I had no luck finding
where org.codehaus.redback.integration.filter.authentication.basic.HttpBasicAuthenticationFilter
is configured or a way to disable this.
I would expect to see the filters configured in the web.xml.

Unfortunately, no. It's only via configuring the 'guest' user account and the Global Repository
Observer role right now. Please feel free to file an issue in JIRA for that and if you wish
to submit a patch for it, that would be even better :)
