In general, browsers don't deal that well with uploading such large files.

If it's a regular occurrence, I'd recommend using the mvn deploy:deploy-file command instead
[1].

If it's a once off setup task, I'd recommend copying this file onto the filesystem of the
repository by hand and letting Archiva discover and scan it. You'll probably find it easier
to deal with large files using your conventional tools.
