Ugh.. that kind of reminds me of httpd's situation with the docs
links... Any preference on the handling?

I think /docs/ should redirect to /docs/current/ - And that can
be whatever we want it to be. Preferably the current stable docs.

n.b.: The current builds
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-3637 do not touch
the 0.9 branch. So I hope that at least is in an acceptable state.
