I wanted to understand how the dependencies will react to this.

Removing:
 apr
Removing for dependencies:
 apr-devel
 apr-util
 apr-util-devel
 apr-util-freetds
 apr-util-ldap
 apr-util-mysql
 apr-util-odbc
 apr-util-pgsql
 apr-util-sqlite
 httpd
 httpd-devel
 httpd-tools
....
...

Since apr has dependences down to httpd. Can an update of apr break
httpd in mysterious ways ?
