Subject 2 configure script problems(1: config.pld error; 2: decision on anonymous shared memory allocation method failed) under WinXP Pro, MinGW / MSYS
Date Thu, 24 Apr 2008 19:40:35 GMT
First of all, is it possible to build the APR under MinGW/MSYS?
If so, I am experiencing 2 problems while trying to build APR 1.2.12
under MSYS 1.0.10 (and associate dev tools) and MinGW 5.1.3

~/src/apache:$ uname -mprs

matching `''

</configure-output>

This problem isn't a show stopper, but I thought it might be of
interest to somebody. Anyway, here is my workaround:
1) edit the configure script to not delete the config.pld file
2) run configure again and let it fail
3) fix the config.pld file
4) edit the configure script to not create the config.pld file so it
uses the fixed version
5) run the configure script again, which leads me to the second problem.

What is causing configure to fail here? The config.log file follows:

This file contains any messages produced by compilers while
running configure, to aid debugging if configure makes a mistake.

It was created by configure, which was
generated by GNU Autoconf 2.56. Invocation command line was

   $ ./configure
