Most of these suggestions can be resolved over this week, so I'm not losing sight to 1.2.9, but agree we should take the time to clean some of these up. The most important (to me as with the Win32-guy hat on) is the failure to create logging processing via shell with the current set of flags, and I'll be researching that mess this week.
