"DBD no driver for mysql still keeps coming"...
here is a part of apache's httpd.conf involving dbd mysql authn:
DBDriver mysql

DBDParams "dbname=vizsga user=root password=bigsecret"

#Parameters for Connection Pool Management
DBDMin 1
DBDKeep 2
DBDMax 10
DBDExptime 60

<Directory "/var/www/html">

    AllowOverride None
    Order allow,deny
    Allow from all

    #mod_auth configuration for authn_dbd
    AuthType Basic
    AuthName "Vizsga"
    AuthBasicProvider dbd

    #authz configuration
    Require valid-user

#SQL query to verify a user
#(note: DBD drivers recognise both stdio-like %s and native syntax)
AuthDBDUserPWQuery "select eha from users where login_name = %s"
This suggests that dbd auth is active. Maybe this is not an install problem?
I looked into libaprutil-1.a archive, and apr_dbd_mysql.o IS in fact listed
there... Oh well :-(
