Subject Inheriting socket descriptor ...
Date Fri, 18 Mar 2005 11:13:02 GMT
Hi.

I'm trying to write a simple inetd daemon using APR. So I need to open a
socket, accept a connection and pass the connection socket to the child
process that is spawned with e.g. apr_proc_create().

I know how can this be done using Linux API, however I would like to do it
with APR. It seams that the function apr_socket_inherit_set() is somehow
related to the topic, however I didn't find any example nor a useful doc.

How can I achive the needed functionality?

Best regards,
Dezo
