Subject Question about memory pools in APR.
Date Sun, 12 Dec 2004 23:28:38 GMT

Hi APR people,

How do I 'free' memory that I have allocated with
apr_palloc or apr_pcalloc ?

I need to compare two ip addresses and I see no other
way to do it (APR way) than to use the
apr_sockaddr_ip_get and compare the two strings.

That function allocates memory and I can't find an APR
function to free that memory. (apr_pfree ?)

Do I just use the local system 'free'? (it will be
deallocated just after the comparison).

Thanks,

JLQ.
