Since the APR has it's own file/dir abstaraction the one would have to write
it's own modules.
I wrote the .gz, .bz2, .zip, .db4 filters already, so any other would have
to implement at least the 'apr calls'.

If some other system gives the 'generic file abstraction' then it's usable
already.
