Does an object created by gcc -pthread -shared have the correct
DT_NEEDED fields though?  I would expect that APR_PTHREADS_CHECK would
work this out correctly, if apr_hints.m4 didn't set
apr_cv_pthreads_cflags.  Paul, can you try:
