Cool, that gets it further, now it breaks like this:

gawk -f /usr/src/redhat/BUILD/apr-1.0.0/build/make_var_export.awk
/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/apr-util-1.0.0/include/apr_base64.h

/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/apr-util-1.0.0/include/apu_want.h > export_vars.h
gawk: fatal: can't open source file
`/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/apr-1.0.0/build/make_var_export.awk' for reading
(No such file or directory)

make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/apr-util-1.0.0'
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

It seems that make_var_export.awk is part of apr and httpd, but not
apr-util.

Is there something I am missing?
