Does anyone have a desire to see strings like "::ffff:127.0.0.1" instead of strings like "127.0.0.1" for IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses? The former format is what we currently have. The latter is much more user friendly. Here are examples from both formats in the Apache access_log: ::ffff:127.0.0.1 - - [04/Dec/2000:16:39:58 -0500] "GET /" 200 0 127.0.0.1 - - [04/Dec/2000:16:41:27 -0500] "GET /" 200 0 I'll make the formatting change unless somebody objects. (If/when apr_get_ipaddr() is replaced by the function David Reid mentioned recently we can make the change there too.) -- Jeff Trawick | trawickj@bellsouth.net | PGP public key at web site: http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Park/9289/ Born in Roswell... married an alien...
