Subject apr_get_ipaddr() and IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses
Date Tue, 05 Dec 2000 15:18:49 GMT
Does anyone have a desire to see strings like "::ffff:"
instead of strings like "" for IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses?
The former format is what we currently have. The latter is much more
user friendly. Here are examples from both formats in the Apache

::ffff: - - [04/Dec/2000:16:39:58 -0500] "GET /" 200 0 - - [04/Dec/2000:16:41:27 -0500] "GET /" 200 0

I'll make the formatting change unless somebody objects.

(If/when apr_get_ipaddr() is replaced by the function David Reid
mentioned recently we can make the change there too.)
