  Modified:    .        CHANGES configure.in
               build    rules.mk.in
  Log:
  Allow LTFLAGS to be overridden by the configure command-line
  (default="--silent") and introduce LT_LDFLAGS.
  
  Also, fix a bug that was preventing recursive extraclean from working.
