Not until the major version change, anyway. We could emit a warning, but then we'd pollute the compile of people that are correctly using the whole thing. For instance, perfectly good use of reslist in httpd would start emitting warnings out of nowhere. As I wrote earlier, there is no point using reslist when there are no threads.
