Subject DO NOT REPLY [Bug 45122] New: change apr_generate_random_byte the first argument type to void*
Date Tue, 03 Jun 2008 16:35:02 GMT

           Summary: change apr_generate_random_byte the first argument type
                    to void*
           Product: APR
           Version: HEAD
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P3
         Component: APR
        AssignedTo: bugs@apr.apache.org
        ReportedBy: takashi@lans-tv.com

apr_status_t apr_generate_random_bytes(unsigned char *buf, apr_size_t length);

Now we have to cast when passing buffer.
More useful if the first argument type is void pointer.

I'm not sure how this change breaks API/ABI compatibility.
