Actually you are launching app in local mode.

Instead of
launch -local /home/cloudera/myapexapp-1.0-SNAPSHOT.apa

launch as:
launch  /home/cloudera/myapexapp-1.0-SNAPSHOT.apa

Then it should launch an application using Yarn.
