Hi Peter,

Here message is a string of value "TEST = ${$var:test}" as it is quoted.
  <echo message="TEST = ${$var:test}"/>

Variable part should be unquoted.


Try this.


<xtras:assign var="test" value="dummy"/>
 <echo message="TEST = "+${$var:test}/>
