Subject Definitive guide to sshexec and scp ant tasks with keyfile?
Date Tue, 24 Aug 2010 17:24:20 GMT

Is there a definitive guide to using sschexec and scp ant tasks.

I see lots of posts where people are trying to get it to work but no
answers. Only ssh guru's saying read the ssh docs like we are all idiots
and its so simple.

Reading the post show several main issues...
1) which tool to use to create keys on windows side? PUTTYgen looks
promising but has issue exporting private key as rsa1 format which is
required by older versions of jsched that are compatible with our eclipse
(Ganymede)
2) how to set up the public key on a standard linux server with sshd already
installed. some post show just copying the key into the .ssh folder while
others register it in various config files.

In theory its very simple but the devel is in the details. The ant tasks
are merciless regarding what goes wrong... just a "Auth cancel" message

Help!!!!
