Subject RE: Issue sending mail with ANT 1.8 when encoding set to "Plain"
Date Wed, 17 Mar 2010 22:26:42 GMT
Hi,

The below issue only occurs when trying to attach a file and using encoding="plain".

Your code is not doing any attachments, you should be able
to send the mail. Make sure that your SMTP server (450-mail-relay) is running, one way you
can check it is through telnet command.

# telnet 450-mail-relay 25

I am still not able to figure-out how can I send attachments using encoding="plain" in ANT
1.8

Thanks

Hello Rao,

I confirm the problem with the following snippet

<project name="sendmail">
<mail from="me" mailhost="450-mail-relay"
      tolist="you@foo.com" encoding="plain"
      subject="Results of nightly build">

      </mail>

</project>

Would you mind entering a bug report in bugzilla ?

Regards,

Antoine
