Try re-formatting your checkstyle fileset attribute to look something  
like this:


<fileset dir="${srcDir}/com" >
       <include name="**/*.java"/>
       <exclude name="${srcDir}/com/myco/ssml/*.java"/>
       <exclude name="${srcDir}/com/myco/provisioning/*.java"/>
</fileset>
