1. On discussions please stay on the mailinglist.
2. No, Ant doesnt save a binary version of a parsed buildfile.

Hi Jan,
I was wondering if Ant could save my "build.xml" so that Ant does not need to load the xml
file again if I want to excute the same xml file several times.
This may not be necessary as Ant can parse the xml file quickly. So just ignore my question.

Thanks all the same.

What do you mean with "cache scripts" ?
<javac> compiles only needed files (*.java newer than *.class...)
	<copy> copies only newer files
<fileset>s can use <modified> selector for checking the change of
	file contents.
