XMLTask can do this.

<xmltask source="source.xml">
<copy path="/TITLE/ABC/text()" property="prop1"/>
<copy path="/TITLE/XYZ/text()" property="prop2"/>
</xmltask>

will copy the values into the properties prop1/prop2
