Put a "description" attribute on the targets you want to make visible,
and then you can use "ant -projecthelp" to list those targets. That
way, "internal" targets aren't listed with the targets you want the
developers to see.

Otherwise, if you're on Unix, you can use sed:

sed -n '/<target/s/<target.*name="\([^"]*\).*$/\1/p' build.xml
