seems to be ok

correct and works for me

DONT DO THAT!!!
Ant should be started with an empty classpath - it loads all libraries
it 
needs by itself.

Yes, and it should contain a ....PropertyFile class.

What do you get with "ant -version"?
Do you have an official binary distro?
