Subject Avoid absolute path names
Date Thu, 15 Jun 2006 13:59:54 GMT
Hi, eclipse 3.2, ant 1.6

I need to add files to the cvs and Im doing this

		<apply executable="cvs" dir="${branch.path}">
		  <arg value="add"/>
		  <fileset dir="${branch.path}">
		    <patternset>
		      <include name="**/*"/>
		    </patternset>
		  </fileset>
		</apply>

Im using an apply task because exec doesn't allow a fileset

The final result is

cvs [add aborted]: Absolute pathname
`C:\gvr\versions\R20060613-MCS\framework\lib\commons-collections-3.1.jar
' not allowed

Is there any way to say to the fileset to use relative path names from
the directory ?

framework\lib\commons-collections-3.1.jar instead of
C:\...\framework\lib\commons-collections-3.1.jar

Thanks. Rodrigo

Have a nice world cup!
