This is a general Java concept question and as such is
off-topic for this list. In many cases you can avoid
the classpath concept in Ant usage so perhaps you
should simply cross that bridge when you come to it.

There are probably external things you could look into
as well, but I don't use any of them.  The main reason
I actually wanted to respond to your message was to
inform you that Ant 1.6.3 had certain bugs that
demanded almost immediate release of Ant 1.6.4, which
in turn had bugs that required the quick release of
Ant 1.6.5, which is considered stable and is the
current version.  I would therefore NOT recommend that
anyone use 1.6.3 or 1.6.4 .
