How would ant work is this was true!?

on buildserver:

Linux 2.6.11.7.
root@buildserver:~# echo $ANT_HOME
/home/source/tools/ant/ant-1.6.1

on testbuild:

Linux 2.6.11.7.
root@testbuild:~# echo $ANT_HOME
/home/source/tools/ant/ant-1.6.1
