<copy> now has an 'outputencoding' attribute. But EBCDIC is not part of
the standard set of charsets supported by Java (US-ASCII, ISO-8859-1,
and various UTF-8 and UTF-16) are. But it also mentions more charsets
may be available. I don't know more, sorry. --DD
